Kulbardi Fund

The Kulbardi Fund, created in May 2015, has a clear mission to provide opportunities for disadvantaged members of the Indigenous community particularly through employment and training, and the development of community projects specific to their needs. These projects will be delivered and evaluated to ensure there are ‘real outcomes’. 

Part proceeds of the profit generated by the joint venture are chanelled into the foundation to develop programs that create long term sustainable change in the following areas:

  • Education
  • Numeracy and Literacy
  • Education Scholarships
  • Aspiration and Leadership
  • Language, Culture and Identity
  • Youth and
  • Elder Programs

A Kulbardi Fund Board has been recently established and they include the following Board Members:

  • Amu Shah
  • Darren Hayes

Recently Funded Projects

The Kulbardi Fund is excited to announce, that as a result of the great support of our customers, it has been able to fund the following projects:

  • Girls Role Models Australia & Leadership Programme - repainting their bus
  • Clontarf College - computers and school leavers' jackets, as well as contribution to their Numeracy and Literacy Awards
  • Ausum Initiatives - support of the Indigenous Youth Leadership Programme
  • Start-up capital for the Winner of an Aboriginal business
  • Start-up capital for the Runner-Up of an Aboriginal business

The Kulbardi Fund is held in Trust by the Fremantle Foundation, a community foundation that supports and administers family, individual and corporate giving.
